$25.8 Million Ticket Tops NJ Lotto Winners In 2023
Several very lucky winners struck it very rich playing the lottery in New Jersey in 2023. Here's a recap of some of the top prizes:
A Pick-6 ticket sold in August in Point Pleasant netted one person $25.8 million. The ticket was sold at Quick Chek at 2307 Route 88 and the winning numbers were 10, 12, 21, 30, 38, and 45.
A trip to Soda King in Manaplan netted someone $7.3 million when they won Pick-6 in February. The winning numbers were 03, 07, 17, 18, 26 and 42.

It was a lucrative Saturday for two North Jersey Powerball players.
Two North Jersey lotto players, one in Essex County and one in Morris County, matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn winning
the $50,000 third-tier prize in the drawing held on Saturday, Oct. 7.
The tickets were sold at Quick Mart Food Store in Livingston and Quick Chek in Denville. The winning numbers for the Saturday, October 7, drawing were: 47, 54, 57, 60 and 65. The Power Ball number was 19, and the Power Play was 3X.

There were five New Jersey Powerball players who took home $50,000 apiece in the Saturday, Feb. 4 drawing, state Lottery officials said.
Five tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball.

An ex-con from Newark told a federal judge on Thursday that he was the getaway driver in a string of overnight convenience store and gas station robberies in Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, Middlesex, Morris and Union counties.

Police: Homeless Man Carjacks Hackensack Victim To Paterson And Back
HACKENSACK, N.J. -- A homeless man carjacked a motorist in Hackensack, made him drive him to Paterson, then took cash and his cellphone before making him drive back, said police who arrested him.
Nathaniel James-Booth, 40, approached the victim in the parking lot of the Quick Chek on Main Street early Thursday, got in through the passenger door and placed his head inside the area of his sweatshirt, Capt. Peter Busciglio said.
"Drive or I'll put this out," the victim said he was told.
