: Former Warren County Prosecutor Wants His Job Back
James Pfeiffer, who abruptly retired as Warren County Prosecutor in April, has filed a lawsuit claiming he was unlawfully removed from the position. The complaint, filed against New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin and Gov. Phil Murphy in Superior Court of New Jersey, said he remains the duly appointed Prosecutor for Warren County and wants his job back. The widow of a celebrity chef who died of COVID is suing the hospital where he stayed alleging they released private details regarding his illness for "gossip" — while she struggled to get word on his condition from hospital staff. A man reportedly caught secretly taking photos in a women's bathroom stall at a Barnes & Noble on Route 3 isn't the same one who exposed himself last month to two different girls in Clifton -- and possibly elsewhere, authorities said Thursday. The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office was expected to release information about Wednesday's incident at the Clifton Commons shopping center. A customer said it began while she and her mother were looking for a book and her cellphone "started going off like crazy." It was her daughter texting her that someone in the bathroom stall…

A woman using the bathroom in the White Meadow Lake Clubhouse on Sunday saw one of the cameras and called police, the Daily Record says citing court documents. John P. Daley of Flanders -- a bartender at the Clubhouse -- initially told authorities he was unaware of the key fob-like recording devices but later admitted to places the cameras in both bathrooms to "view unknown females' private areas," the report says. Closter police released surveillance photos Wednesday in the hopes of identifying two men in separate incidents – one of whom they said followed a woman and her 11-year-old granddaughter around the borough’s new shopping center and another suspected of taking upskirt photos of a woman in a dressing room there. RECENT INCIDENT Surveillance video shows one of the men following the grandmother and girl, 11, into HomeGoods and then “from aisle to aisle for 15 minutes” without buying anything between 8-9 p.m. Aug. 1, Detective Sgt.
