More than 50 people were arrested after police broke up a large cockfighting ring in Atlantic County, authorities said. Galloway Township police executed a search warrant at a home on the 300 block of South Bremen Avenue on Saturday, Mar. 9, the department said in a news release. Investigators are looking for your help in solving the cold case of a woman found dead in Atlantic County more than 35 years ago. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced on Tuesday, Feb. 13 that its major crimes unit is looking for the relatives and friends of James “Crab Daddy” Whiting Jr. He was born in 1916 and died in 2011.
