Kelsey Steels' body was discovered by hikers along a trail inside of the West Orange on Friday, March 4,  Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Palisades Interstate Parkway police were joined by various rescuers who helped find the pair near the State Line Lookout in Alpine shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday. The victim, 50, tripped and injured her arm while hiking Sunday along an unmarked trail in Alpine, PIP Police Lt. Jock Watkins said. “She was about 750 feet away from the shore at an approximate angle of 70 degrees,” Watkins said. The victim was taken to Englewood Hospital and Medical Center for treatment, he said.
