Covid-19: Bergen County Schools Report More Cases, Dozens Under Quarantine Three Bergen County schools have switched to remote learning after reporting additional COVID-19 cases. Two students and a staff member tested positive in River Dell, which switched its middle and high schools to remote learning Tuesday, River Dell Superintendent Patrick Fletcher told parents Monday night. Covid-19: 2 More Bergen County Schools Report Positive Cases Another two Bergen County schools have reported positive COVID-19 cases. Cases were reported at the Memorial School in Montvale and the Thomas Edison School in Fair Lawn. It was not clear if the case at the Memorial Elementary School was a student or staff member. The individual did not have any close contacts. In Fair Lawn, both cases were reported at the Edison School, which houses the district's Board of Education office and Pre-K classes for student services, Superintendent Nick Norcia said in a letter. Report: These North Jersey High Schools Scored Highest On SAT In The State New Jersey students are scoring slightly higher on the SATs than the national average. According to NJ.com, the average SAT score in the U.S. last year was 1,068 out of 1,600. New Jersey students pulled a 1,085 -- with a 542 in reading and 543 in math. Twenty-three schools from Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic and Union counties made NJ.com's list of 50 high school with the highest SAT scores in the state.
