After being charged with second-degree disturbing human remains, 53-year-old Carlos Acevedo, of Camden, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Cathleen McGrath, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. The man accused of gunning down a former standout basketball star last November was arrested by members of the US Marshals Regional Task Force, authorities in Camden County said. Takwail Bailey, 29, was shot and killed on Nov. 28, 2021. The mother of a 5-year-old child and her boyfriend have been arrested in connection with the child’s death, authorities said.
