Funeral Arrangements, Viewing Set For Lt. Gov. Oliver
New Jersey is preparing to honor Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver, who died on Tuesday, August 1, at the age of 71.
Gov. Phil Murphy announced the official New Jersey State Funeral and Memorial Service for Oliver will take place at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark on Saturday, August 12. The public is invited to attend.
Prior to her funeral, Oliver will lie in state in the Rotunda of the State Capital on Thursday, August 10 and the Essex County Courthouse on Friday, August 11, accompanied by a full honor guard, Murphy said.

Ex-Employees Of Franklin Lakes Cellphone Store Charged With Theft, Investigation Continues
Two now-former employees of a cellphone store in Franklin Lakes were charged with using customers’ information to steal from them, authorities announced.
Franklin Lakes police conducted an “extensive and comprehensive” investigation over the past several months before filing theft charges against both Robert Q. Hansford, 28, of Clifton, and Haleem K. Mitchell, 25, of East Orange, Capt. Mark McCombs said.
Mitchell, who’d worked with Hansford at TS Mobility AT&T on Franklin Avenue, also was charged with conspiracy, the captain said on Tuesday, July 18.

Five North Jersey Residents Killed In South Carolina Plane Crash: Report (Developing)
Five North Jersey residents including a 7-year-old boy were killed in a plane crash in South Carolina on Sunday, July 2, according to CBS News.
The single engine Piper PA-32 crashed in North Myrtle Beach on Sunday morning, July 1, leaving the following East Orange victims dead:
Sean Gardner, 7, and his mother, Tanique Chu were killed in the crash, along with Odaycia Edwards, 17 and her mother, Suzette Coleman-Edwards, 42.
The pilot, Dr. Joseph Farnese, was also killed in the crash, officials told CBS News.
