Two Crashes Block Lanes Of GWB, Injuries Reported Two separate crashes jammed lanes of the George Washington Bridge during Wednesday morning's commute Aug. 21, the NJDOT site said. One crash was reported in the lower level eastbound lanes around 8:40 a.m. Injuries were reported. The other happened on the upper level in Fort Lee. Both crashes took out two lanes, the NJDOT site says. This is a developing story.

The company was left high and dry when Coach USA announced it would be terminating its agreement with the major transportation company, halting service to 20 of its bus routes in Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties come Aug. 16. The decision to do so was made amid Coach USA filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. 23 NY Waterway Ferries Suspended For Safety Reasons: Report Nearly two dozen ferries out of NY Waterway's fleet of 32 that travel between New York and New Jersey were suspended by the Coast Guard for safety reasons, News 4 reported Sunday.  Six of the ferries were since returned to service Sunday, but the company said the ferry service -- which crosses the Hudson River from Bergen and Hudson counties to Manhattan -- would likely experience delays during the rush hour commute Monday morning. Rain will change to a wintry mix around midnight, followed by snow showers and snow as the overnight low dips to the mid-20s. An inch or less of accumulation is possible. The chance for snow will end around 9 a.m. Friday. Skies will gradually clear with some sun in the afternoon and a high temperature struggling to reach the freezing mark.
