Tommy's Tavern + Tap Announces Edgewater Opening Date A popular bar and restaurant with nine locations in New Jersey is opening another later this month. Tommy's Tavern + Tap announced on Instagram that its Edgewater location will open at City Place on Wednesday, June 26. The expansive Tommy's menu includes pizza, burgers, salads, small plates, sushi, beer, cocktails, wine, happy hour specials, and more. Tommy's has locations in Sea Bright, Freehold, Clifton, Bridgewater, Edison, Princeton, Morris Plains, Mount Laurel, Cherry Hill, and now Edgewater. Tommy's Tavern + Tap, 11 The Promenade at City Place, Edgewater.

1950s Style Bar Coming To Bergen County A 1950s style bar is coming to Bergen County later this spring. Gus' Last Word will be located at on Valley Boulevard in Wood Ridge, replacing Angeloni's. The website says the bar is a "love letter to the classic bars of the 1950s" and will focus on cocktails, icy drafts and comforting American fare. The bar will be "centered around the warm hospitality we were raised on," its website says. The owners are apparently the same team at the helm of Cowan’s Public in Nutley  and the Barrow House in Clifton. Gus' Last Word, 191 Valley Blvd., Wood-Ridge.

H Mart will occupy a 35,000-square-foot space and will be the first location in New Jersey to have a "Let Them Talk Bar and Stage" with live music, cocktails and weekly entertainment events.
