Popular Restaurateur Opening Bergen County Tequila Bar With 'Modern Twist' A North Jersey restauranteur is expanding his empire with a tequila bar in Englewood. Ariel Espejo is opening Mexcal Tequila Bar at 24 N Van Brunt St. in the city sometime in February. Espejo, who runs Bent Hospitality with his partner, Michele Bittan, also runs Vida Garden, El Tango, Hidden Garden in Englewood and Tengo Steak in Moonachie.  Mexcal Tequila Bar will offer almost 80 different kinds of tequila, along with Mexican cuisine like tacos, enchiladas while a DJ will be on hand during the weekend. Pete Davidson Coming to BergenPAC, Red Bank's Count Basie New Jersey has three Pete Davidson shows ahead. The 29-year-old comic has booked two shows at Red Bank's Hackensack Meridian Health Theater at Count Basie on Saturday, Nov. 18, and one show at BergenPAC in Englewood on Sunday, Nov. 19. Davidson, who is hosting "Saturday Night Live" on Oct. 14, will be in the Garden State as part of his stand-up comedy tour across the U.S. The comic was a cast member on SNL from 2-14 to 2022, and is the creator, executive producer, writer and star of Peacock's critically acclaimed comedy "Bupkis."
