Study: Number Of Edgewater Students To Increase At Leonia School District

LEONIA, N.J. -- A demographics study ordered by the Leonia Board of Education shows the number of Edgewater students who will enroll in Leonia’s middle and high schools will rise in the next few years, NorthJersey.com reported.

The expected growth is largely attributable to a significant increase in Edgewater’s population, which has more than doubled in the last two decades, according to NorthJersey.com.

In an effort to adapt to the projected influx of students, Leonia is considering ways to expand the high school, NorthJersey.com reported.
