Mad Science Wraps Up Hands-On Fun In Edgewater

EDGEWATER, N.J. — Mad Science holds its last day of weekly classes on Monday Dec. 7 after a program aimed at providing science-based enrichment programs for Edgewater students Pre-K through sixth.

The club met for 8 weeks, with classes ranging in size from 13 to 20 students. It was sponsored by the Edgewater Recreation Department to provide an all new “STEM-Tastic" after-school science program at Edgewater Recreation.

In the Mad Science club, students are introduced to science using a hands-on inquiry-based approach. The club met for 8 weeks, with class sizes 13-20. In this all new Mad Science program, students explored the world of S.T.E.M. as well as science with chemistry and biology and more.
