In exchange, authorities dropped similar charges involving two 13-year-old girls.
The single Colombian immigrant will spend at least 8 1/2 years in state prison before he’ll be eligible for parole, under the deal he struck with prosecutors. He will also be branded a Megan’s Law offender.

On his MySpace page, Giron, of 48th Street in Union City, says he’s 26 and makes $100,000 to $250,000 as an MTV talent manager. In real life, “Javier Mtv Music” didn’t even have a job, authorities said.
Giron admitted promising the girls he’d connect them with people who could land them work. The only doors that opened for them were to fleabag motels.
Eventually, the 12-year-old girl’s parent caught on and called police.
Giron remains held on $300,000 bail in the Hudson County jail in Kearny. Sentencing is set for Feb. 26 in Jersey City.
