Roger A. Olivera, in turn, was arrested before dawn Sunday and charged with burglary, theft and receiving stolen property, Detective Sgt. Michael Giampietro told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning.
The stolen items were recovered, he said.
Olivera, 24, apparently was with a group of friends who’d been at the victim’s Commercial Avenue apartment Saturday night.
Returning after everyone left, he forced open a side door, Giampietro said.
Olivera was released from the Bergen County Jail yesterday after posting $25,000 bail, in addition to $130 for an outstanding warrant for a Cliffside Park municipal ordinance violation.
