The 40-something bandit, possibly Hispanic or Arabic, entered the Fairview Avenue bank around 1:40 p.m. wearing a dark sport jacket, sunglasses, dress pants, a blue baseball cap — and latex gloves, the FBI told the website exclusively.

After pointing the pipe, he demanded all the cash in the teller’s drawer, then took off with it.

Outside, he got into a red 1990s Ford Explorer with beige trim and push-bar grill guards and headed north toward Cliffside Park, CLIFFVIEW PILOT has learned.

The website was given a partial New Jersey license plate beginning with the letter “X” and ending in “5C.“

During a year-long span beginning in March 2006, the same bank was robbed three times by the same man. Now 44, Peter Bedrosian was scheduled for release last month.

Also in 2007, a woman who’d just gotten off a bus at the Fairview Avenue stop was dragged next to the bank and raped in the early morning hours. Her assailant and two accomplices were all caught.

Anyone with information about Friday’s holdup or the vehicle believed used is asked to call the FBI at (973) 792-3000. The number is active 24/7.
