James Nyman, 23, also was carrying 44 Vicodin pills without a prescription in addition to the marijuana that authorities said he and 25-year-old Paul Nahra had when they were stopped on 16th Avenue Friday night, Police Chief Michael Foligno said.

Yesterday afternoon, Foligno’s officers arrested 45-year-old Matthew Cox of Cliffside Park on charges of having four bags of heroin and one of cocaine after he was stopped on Locust Street. He also received a summons for having drugs in a motor vehicle, the chief said.

All three men were released pending court hearings, he said.
