FAIRVIEW, N.J. -- Fairview police sought the public's help finding a sedan used by a couple who snatched a purse containing $1,500 in cash and a cellphone.

The man and woman hopped into the silver, older model Audi A4 and drove off from the crime at the intersection of Kamena Street and Third Street at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, Police Chief Martin Kahn said.

The victim described the woman as 5-foot-1 and the man as 6-foot-1 with no further description, Kahn said Thursday.
