The two-alarm, 11th-floor fire -- in an enclosed terrace at the Winston Towers unit off Palisade Avenue -- was quickly brought under control, Police Chief Rich Gaito told Daily Voice.

Firefighters broke windows to ventilate the smoke, he said.

There were no injuries, Gaito said, adding that fire officials were investigating Tuesday night.
