Fiancée of hip hop star Jim Jones arrested in Edgewater bar brawl

Christine Lampkin, the fiancé of hip hop star Jim Jones, was arrested before dawn today by Edgewater police who said she sent a woman to the hospital with a punch in the face.

The brawl began inside Spirit Lounge on River Road and spilled into an entrance area around 2:30 a.m., Edgewater police said.

TMZ said the victim needed stitches above her eye.

Jones, 37 — whose real name is Joseph Guillermo Jones — posted bail for 42-year-old Christine Lampkin, who was released pending a court appearance on charges of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct.

Jones and Lampkin, who have a 10-year-old son, Joseph “Purdy” Jones II, have starred in the VH1 reality show “Love & Hip Hop,” and, more recently in the channel’s “Chrissy & Mr. Jones,” which follows them in their personal lives.

During the second season of “Love & Hip Hop,” Lampkin got into a tussle it with Juelz Santana’s girlfriend.
