A possible third shooting may have occurred in Cliffside Park, authorities said.

The first incident was reported just after 7:45 p.m., when two teens were struck by pellets in Columbus Park in Fairview, Detective Capt. Martin Kahn told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. No one was seriously injured, he said.

Then, around 1 a.m., a 21-year-old woman standing outside BLVD Bar and Grill, just off Route 80 in Elmwood Park, was hit twice in the right forearm.

The shots were fired from inside was described as an older model silver or gold SUV, possibly a Nissan Infiniti.

The driver of the vehicle had pulled up near the corner of Boulevard and Linden Avenue and cut its lights before the pops were heard and the woman was struck, Detective Capt. Brian DePasquale told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. She declined medical attention, he said.

Kahn, the Fairview detective captain, said the weapon apparently was an airsoft gun — a replica that fires non-lethal plastic pellets and is used in law enforcement and combat training.

He asked that anyone with information about the incident in Fairview call police at: (201) 943-2100.

Meanwhile, DePasquale asked that anyone with information about the overnight shooting in Elmwood Park call him or his department: (201) 796 0700
