Edgewater Woman, 52, Hospitalized After Being Struck By Bus At Ferry Terminal

A 52-year-old Edgewater woman was hospitalized with injuries that authorities said weren't life-threatening after being struck by a bus at the ferry terminal Friday morning, authorities said.

The 69-year-old ferry bus driver, also an Edgewater resident, received a summons for failing to stop for a pedestrian in a crosswalk, Police Chief Donald Martin said.

The bus had no passengers on board when the woman was struck in the parking lot just after 7:30 a.m., the chief said.
