Siobhan Stokley, 40, was expected to surrender at Edgewater police headquarters today to face upgraded charges of vehicular homicide in connection with the 10:50 p.m. crash, which left 61-year-old Tony Tyson in critical condition after he slammed his head on the pavement when he was hit by her 2007 Hummer H2.
Tyson was pronounced dead at 10:25 p.m. yesterday, nearly 48 hours later.
Bail for Stokley was set at $125,000, with a Thursday appearance in Edgewater Municipal Court.
Stokley, a Ridgewood High School and Parsons School of Design graduate who operates her own interior design company, also received summonses for DWI and reckless driving, the prosecutor said. She was released from the Bergen County Jail on an original $15,000 bail Saturday following her arrest.
