Cliffside Park native brings relief supplies to Jersey Shore church

ONLY ON CVP: Randi (Enrico) Peterson may have left Cliffside Park, but a piece of her heart remains in New Jersey — which helped bring a 48-foot truck full of food, water and clothing to a Jersey Shore church this weekend.

Petersen, who was graduated from Cliffside Park High School and now lives in Connecticut, organized a major fund drive in New Haven for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Over the weekend, she and others headed to Jackson — where The Church of Grace and Peace in Toms River has a warehouse — with the relief delivery.

“High-fives to her for doing this with the donations from those in Connecticut and New Jersey who felt for the pain and discomfort of those affected,” Michele Talamo of Cliffside Park said.

“She is a wonderful woman, with a big heart and a drive to give back to those in need,” Talamo told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. “And so are those in Connecticut, many miles away, who supported New Jersey.”
