Bryant Del-Rosario, 18, of Palisade Avenue, was being held on $150,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with sexual assault and child endangerment.
The boy was watching television when the mother walked in, Molinelli said.
She called Cliffside Park police, who alerted detectives in the prosecutor’s Special Victims Unit, he said.
During a subsequent interview, the mother “provided specific details as to what she had observed [Del-Rosario] doing,” Molinelli said.
He was then arrested.
An arraignment in Municipal Court was set for tomorrow.
