Car plows into Cliffside Park storefront

CVP EXCLUSIVE: A motorist apparently swerving to avoid another car drove her car onto the sidewalk and into the front of a Cliffside Park store just before 4 o’clock this afternoon.

The front doors and a plate glass on one side were smashed by the car when it struck Nizam International Groceries on Anderson Avenue near Lincoln Avenue.

The driver’s condition couldn’t be determined. She didn’t appear seriously injured, witnesses told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
