Car Plows Into Bogota Home

BOGOTA, N.J. -- A driver was taken to the hospital after an SUV backed into a Bogota house.

The RAV 4 sustained significant rear damage.

The middle-aged driver told police the gas pedal got stuck coming out of the driveway, sending the Toyota RAV 4 into the neighboring Leonia Avenue house.

The gas and water lines were damaged, forcing a utility shutoff.

Authorities also inspected the building for structural damage.

A fire hydrant and bushes were also damaged.

Suez Water and PSE&G responded along with police and firefighters.
