Bogota Teachers Donate To Police Emergency Services Youth Academy

BOGOTA, N.J. -- The Bogota Education Association thanked the borough Emergency Services Youth Academy with a donation.

Sgt. Craig Lynch, the program director, accepted the donation for the Youth Academy from the Bogota Education Association from BEA representatives Vicki Shepard and Laura Ketchum.

All of the teachers donated, they noted, "to show how much our teachers care for all Bogota students."

Lynch later that day accepted a check from Bogota Blog NJ that will go towards the Academy’s “ Sponsor a Cadet Program.”

The “ Sponsor a Cadet” program started this year to allow a deserving Bogota student with financial needs to join the class.

Donations can be made in the the form of a check made out to FOP Lodge 161.
