An undercover detective bought some of the knockoffs before busting Martha Soto-Cortes, 45, for selling/displaying counterfeit merchandise and theft by deception, Bogota Detective Sgt. Jonathan Misskerg said.

Police responded to “several quality of life complaints from neighbors in the area of Chestnut Avenue” and found Soto-Cortes selling in front of a resident’s home.

The resident received summonses, as well — for violating borough ordinances related to street selling and obstructing public passage, Misskerg said.

Soto-Cortes had 400 or so items were falsely stamped with high-end names such as Ray Ban, Anne Klein, Reebok, Burberry, Coach, Prada and several other trademarked brands, the sergeant said.

Misskerg put the value at roughly $4,000.
