Evaristo Burdiez Jr., 42, was released to a family member 2½ hours after police stopped his black Land Rover at 1:25 a.m. Aug. 24 at Clinton Avenue and Henry Street, according to a police report.
Burdiez was issued four summonses and his car was towed and impounded, the report provided by Bergenfield police says.
Burdiez, who runs a freight shipping and trucking company out of Jersey City, was sworn to the council in 2011 to fill a vacated seat. His term expires next year.
