Juan Raymond Martori, 43, was carrying nearly two dozen bags of the drug along with Oxycodone when police stopped him walking in Fairview yesterday, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.

Cliffside Park police and members of Molinelli’s Narcotic Task Force then executed a search at Martori’s Palisade Avenue apartment and found 260 bags of heroin, along with:
• “numerous” empty heroin envelopes;
• Lactose (commonly used to increase volume);
• a digital scale;
• rubber bands;
• a funnel and a metal scoop.

Combined, the heroin seized from Martori and at his home would fetch about $2,000 on the street, Molinelli said.

Martori was being held on $100,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged a first-degree count of maintaining/operating a drug production facility and various drug possession offenses.
