Arrests in $2 million Edgewater home invasion robbery

A Municipal Court judge in Edgewater set bail for the pair as investigators continued to search for accomplices in the brazen robbery of $2 million in cash and gold from a dwelling at the St. Moritz on Gorge Road.

Both are Dominican. The woman is a citizen of the Dominican Republic.

Both are charged with two counts each of robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault, a pair of weapons counts and other offenses that include burglary and theft.

CLIFFVIEW PILOT was withholding their identities until the information is officially released by Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli, who confirmed the arrests.
