U.S. EPA Officials Talk Edgewater Superfund Cleanup

EDGEWATER,, N.J. — Officials from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Honeywell will be on hand to answer questions about the upcoming cleanup of the Quanta Resources Superfund site in Edgewater on Oct. 27.

Work at the site is scheduled to begin in this month, and the cleanup will take approximately two years. 

The information session is designed to provide residents with an opportunity to meet with representatives from EPA and Honeywell, and to ask questions in an informal setting.

Two sessions are scheduled at Borough Hall Council Chambers, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
