At the meeting were representatives of Tomco Construction, CME Engineering, the borough's municipal engineer, and representatives of the borough, including the borough administrator, public works superintendent and Mayor Michael McPartland.
A pre-construction meeting is considered the "kick-off" to the project: a discussion is held about the methods and procedures for the start of the work, permits and licensing, payment certifications, work hours, and any other outstanding matters before the work begins.
The borough reported that Tomco Construction said it can begin preparing the site -- including placing silt fencing and bringing in equipment and supplies -- as early as Monday, June 13.
