Cliffside Park Vows To Change Idling, Parking Rules

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. – Residents along Lawton Avenue in Cliffside Park will get some relief after the borough vowed to change its existing idling and parking rules at the latest Borough Council meeting on Feb. 10, according to NorthJersey.com.

Residents had long complained that delivery trucks were idling too long and restaurant customers were parking in front of driveways illegally, NorthJersey.com said.

While police had stepped up their patrols in the area, a resident's home surveillance camera showed that they were ineffective, reported NorthJersey.com.

Traffic officers' hours were changed as a result of the meeting, NorthJersey.com noted.
