CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- Happy birthday to former Cliffside Park resident Reminisce "Remy Ma" Mackie.
Mackie, a rapper and songwriter, was born May 30, 1980 and turns 38 on Tuesday.
She grew up in the Bronx and was mentored by late MC Big Pun
She's best known by her stage name Remy Ma, formerly Remy Martin, and was a Grammy-nominated member of Fat joe's rap crew, Terror Squad.
She was featured on the group's hit song "Lean Back."
