Edgewater Brothers Want To Feed 100 People On Thanksgiving

EDGEWATER, N.J. — A pair of brothers from Edgewater are on a mission to donate 100 Thanksgiving dinner baskets this holiday season.

Jake and Max Klein are collecting donations at the Leonia High School gym on Nov. 15 to donate to Rochelle Park's Center For Hope and Safety.

The boys run a website called "Kids That Do Good," which helps connect youth to local volunteer opportunities.

They are looking for the following items:

  • Candied cranberries
  • Dried stuffing
  • Gravy
  • Canned yams
  • Canned pumpkins
  • Canned green beans
  • Boxed chicken/vegetable broth and milk
  • Apple sauce
  • Marshmallows
  • Roasting pans (turkey size or smaller)
  • Supermarket gift cards
  • Cereal bars
  • Canned soup
  • Peanut butter
  • Nonperishable foods
