Couple Rearrested In Case Of 100 Dead Dogs At South Jersey Home
A South Jersey couple has been rearrested on animal cruelty charges as a woman was found to be posing as an animal rescue worker, authorities said.
In August, more than 30 dead dogs were found at a home in Burlington County — and police had said there could be 70 more on the property.
Rebecca Halbach, 35, and Brandon Leconey, 32, also had been arrested for endangering the welfare of a child after the harrowing discovery at their Evesham home on the 600 block of Main Street was made Monday, Aug. 28, police said.

The pilot and three passengers killed in the Sunday, June 4 Virginia plane crash have been identified.
Adina Azarian, her 2-year-old daughter, Aria, and nanny, were identified as the passengers of the aircraft by Azarian's father, John Rumpel — who runs the company that owns the aircraft — in an interview with the New York Times.
Azarian's live-in nanny was identified as Evadnie Smith, and the pilot as Jeff Hefner, according to the Washington Post. Kimberly Hefner, who is listed on social media as Hefner's wife, said "Papi Hefner" died doing what he loved doing: Flying.

A recall has been issued for a popular brand of tomato sauce sold at Wegmans supermarkets.
The manufacturer, LiDestri Foods, said 24-ounce jars of Wegmans Italian Classics Diavolo pasta sauce may contain undeclared fish (anchovy).
"People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to anchovy run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.," the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said.

Hundreds of new Campbell Soup Co jobs are expected to relocate to New Jersey with the consolidation of snack business offices in Connecticut and North Carolina, the food giant's officials announced.

2 Drivers Dead In Wrong-Way Parkway Crash
Two drivers died in a head-on crash on the Garden State Parkway Friday, Oct. 21, authorities said.
Cortney Downey, of Northfield, and Michelle ross, of North Carolina, collided in Little Egg Harbor Township around 9:30 p.m., causing Ross' 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander to overturn, New Jersey State Police said.
Downey, 32, who was in a Toyota Corolla, and Ross were both pronounced dead. It was not clear which driver was heading in the wrong direction.

South Jersey Pair Charged With Illegal Handgun Possession
Two men from Burlington County were arrested and charged with illegally possessing handguns, authorities said.
Brandon T. Russell, 20, was charged with weapons offenses and receiving stolen property, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Willingboro Township Acting Public Safety Director Captain Ian S. Bucs.
Zhamar Duncan, 21, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, they said.
