Teen Charged In Double Fatal Route 9 Crash: Prosecutor A Howell teenager has been charged in connection with a collision that killed two teens and injured two others in Freehold Township last year, authorities said. The defendant was 17 at the time of the crash, and because of his age, his identity is being withheld, they said. He has been charged on juvenile complaints with two counts of second-degree vehicular homicide and two counts of assault by auto, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago.
