Bicyclist, 61, Struck, Killed In Jersey Shore Crash A 61-year-old bicyclist from Ocean County was killed when he was struck by a Jeep, authorities said. On Monday, May 2, at 9:40 p.m., Stafford police responded to a collision on Route 72 westbound near the Garden State Parkway. Investigation indicated that a 2012 Jeep operated by Ronald Sheehy, 55, of Waretown, was traveling west on Route 72, and transitioning into the far right lane to access the Garden State Parkway north ramp, Stafford police said.
