The fires were all mostly contained as of 6 p.m. and were sparked by a passing train. Damion Cheeks of Bridgeton crashed at about 4 a.m. near the intersection of Norcross Road and North Grove Street in Winslow Township, they said. Cheeks was driving a 2004 Lexus southbound on Norcross Road when he lost control, went off the roadway and collided with a wooden fence and several trees before overturning, Winslow Township police said.  Cheeks was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, police said.
