The unnamed driver from Berlin was headed south on Haddonfield Berlin Road in a 2008 Honda at a high rate of speed when they struck a 2024 Lexus SUV being operated by a 53-year-old Atco resident just before 10:10 p.m. near Lafayette Avenue in Voorhees, local police said. Walter Sytnik, 35, of Voorhees, forged checks for five years from checks he stole from the medical practice where he worked as a bookkeeper before going to medical school, U.S. Attorney Philip R. The shooting was reported at 11:21 p.m. Saturday, according Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Voorhees Police Chief Louis Bordi. 2 Dead In Voorhees Crash Two drivers were killed in a crash Saturday afternoon on Voorhees, officials said. A Volvo wagon heading eastbound on Centennial Boulevard struck a westbound Honda CRV around 1:20 p.m., local police said. The Volvo driver, Larry A. Shaw, 68, of Cheltenham, PA, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS, police said. The Honda driver, Carol C. Marks, 84, of Berlin, was airlifted to Cooper Hospita, where she succumbed to her injuries, authorities said. Voorhees police continue to investigate the crash.
