Police ID Ultralight Pilot Killed In South Jersey Crash Authorities have identified the pilot killed when his ultralight crashed into woods in Gloucester County. Gerard Asselta, 64, of Vineland was pronounced dead at the crash scene  north of Tuckahoe Road and Harding Highway in Franklin Township, police said in a statement. The single-engine craft took off from a residence on Union Road in Vineland and crashed about1 p.m., police said. It was not clear where Asselta was headed.
