A New Jersey man allegedly beat his mom to death after she tried to stop him from slicing a tattoo off of his leg, according to court documents obtained by Daily Voice. Gloucester Township police were called to the Doran family's Blackwood home around 10:20 a.m. Saturday, March 2, as Daily Voice previously reported. A 38-year-old Pennsylvania man is facing murder charges after injuring his wife and killing another man in what police are calling a "domestic-related shooting" at a shopping center in Berks County on Saturday, March 19. Three people were shot at a baby shower during a fight about gifts, local police say. Police in Lower Burrell, were called to an active shooting at the Kinloch Fire Department on Saturday just after 6 p.m. Upon arrival officers learned it was “not an active shooter situation but rather an isolated family incident during a baby shower,” city police said in a Facebook post on the department's page. A Mechanicsburg man is facing a weapons of mass destruction charge after a failed attempt to make fireworks, say police. Johnathan Park, 33, was arrested after he attempted to make fireworks on his bed in his apartment in 500 block of Geneva Drive, according to police. An Allentown police officer quickly extinguished a woman whose jacket was set on fire with gasoline, apprehending the suspect and sustaining injuries in the process, authorities said.
