Bus Fatality Under Investigation In Lakewood The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office is investigating a fatal pedestrian crash involving a New Jersey Transit bus, authorities said. A 33-year-old man, who has not been identified, was killed, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. The fatal crash occurred at about 9:45 p.m. Monday at the Lakewood Bus Terminal on Route 88, Billhimer said. The driver of the bus was located in Howell and has been cooperative with the investigation, Billhimer said. The victim was found lying by the side of the road. Authorities ID Man, 20, Killed In Lakewood Drive-By Shooting Authorities have identified the 20-year-old man killed during a drive-by shooting on Sunday night in Ocean County. At about 7:40 p.m, Lakewood police responded to reports of shots fired at 166 Tudor Court, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Lakewood Township Police Chief Gregory Meyer. A 9-1-1 caller said that a man had collapsed in the middle of the road, Billhimer and Meyer said.
