Pedestrian, 32, Struck, Killed In South Jersey Crash: Police A 32-year-old pedestrian from Mays Landing was killed in a crash, authorities said. On Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 1:18 a.m., the Township of Hamilton Police Department responded to Route 50 in the area of Spruce Street for a pedestrian-motor vehicle crash. Preliminary investigation revealed a 2013 Honda Pilot, operated by Michael Jackson, 65, of Egg Harbor City, was traveling northbound on Rt 50 when pedestrian Jessica Lavin entered the lane of travel and was struck by the Honda, police said.
