NJ Transit, Amtrak Service Resumes After Power Outage, Brush Fire Service to NJ Transit and Amtrak trains was disrupted for the second time this week on Thursday, June 20 due to both power issues and brush fires along the NJ Turnpike, officials said. Amtrak service between Philadelphia and New Haven had been suspended while NJ Transit service in and out of NY Penn Station was also suspended, due to power issues on the Amtrak line, NJ Transit said. Man Lands On BMW After 9-Story Fall From Jersey City High Rise UPDATE: A man was in critical condition Thursday after jumping from a ninth-story window from a Jersey City high rise Wednesday, city officials said.  The 31-year-old man went out of a ninth-floor window and landed on a BMW below around 10:30 a.m. at Sip Avenue and Enos Place (26 Journal Square), City Spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said.  His injuries were considered life-threatening.
