A crew of con artists from New Jersey admitted swindling more than $1.3 million from hundreds of businesses nationwide and abroad that thought they were buying specialized aviation equipment. The head of the operation, Antonio P. Signo, 36, of Somerset – aka "Tony Demetro" – had been the first to take a deal from prosecutors rather than face the potential consequences of a trial. UPDATE: A convicted New Jersey “sleeper agent” for Hezbollah who scoped out potential terrorism targets in New York, Boston, Washington, D.C. and elsewhere was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison. Student, MontCo Native Isaac Ashton Dies Of Cancer, 21
Kind. Joyful. Godly. This is how 21-year-old Montgomery County native Issac Timothy Ashton is being remembered. Isaac died on Jan. 25, 2021, following a short but valiant battle with leukemia. Born in Langhorne, Isaac later moved to Lambertville, New Jersey, where he lived up until his death, his obituary says. A scholar and highly-talented musician, Isaac played in the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, traveling to Italy and France to play in open-air concerts.
