Police ID Man Killed In Route 30 South Jersey Crash A passenger from Burlington County was killed in a crash on Route 30 in Atlantic County. Bruce H. GIlbert of Browns Mills died in the Thursday, Nov. 3 crash, Mullica Township police said. At about 11:45 a.m., police responded to the intersection of White Horse Pike (Route 30) and Elwood Road for a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles. Upon arrival, police found a Subaru sedan and a Ford Utility truck with severe damage. Gilbert was in the Subaru. 18 Families Displaced By South Jersey Apartment Fire At least 18 families were displaced by an apartment house fire in Galloway, authorities said. The fire broke out at 5:07 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at Apache Court, Galloway police said. Upon arrival, police officers observed a fully engulfed building containing dozens of apartments. NJ Dad Gets 10 Years In 4-Month-Old Son's Bogus Bed-Rolling Death: Prosecutor A South Jersey dad has been sentenced to a decade behind bars in the death of his 4-month-old son. Jose Rojas, of Hamilton Township, was sentenced on a charge of manslaughter to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison, subject to the No Early Release Act, Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill said. He is also subject to three years of parole supervision upon release from prison.
