Taxicab Passenger Killed In Atlantic City Crash A passenger in a taxicab was killed in a weekend crash in Atlantic City, authorities said. The crash occurred on Sunday, April 30, at approximately 3:40 a.m. at the intersection of Arctic and North Missouri avenues. Preliminary investigation revealed that a taxicab and a Tesla collided at the intersection. The cab had five occupants, including the driver. One of the occupants, Almir Pachariz, a 49-year-old man from Yorktown Heights, NY, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver and remaining passengers were transported to AtlantiCare-City Division for treatment.&nb…

Police ID Man Killed In Route 30 South Jersey Crash A passenger from Burlington County was killed in a crash on Route 30 in Atlantic County. Bruce H. GIlbert of Browns Mills died in the Thursday, Nov. 3 crash, Mullica Township police said. At about 11:45 a.m., police responded to the intersection of White Horse Pike (Route 30) and Elwood Road for a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles. Upon arrival, police found a Subaru sedan and a Ford Utility truck with severe damage. Gilbert was in the Subaru. 33-Year-Old Man Struck, Killed By Driving Running Red Light, Police In Atlantic County Say A 33-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver who ran a red light Monday morning in Atlantic County, authorities said. Michael Doyle, 31, of Tuckerton, was heading east on BlackHorse Pike when he ran the light at English Creek Avenue and struck Anthony Swezeny, of Egg Harbor Township, local police said. Swezeny was trying to cross the Black Horse Pike from the south to north side when he was hit by Doyle in a 2003 Honda CRV, police said. Doyle then struck a 2021 Chevy van, authorities said.
