A family was discovered to have been living in "deplorable" conditions when a trooper came to assist at a call of a woman in cardiac arrest in the home, Pennsylvania State Police in Gettysburg announced on Wednesday, March 6.
Trooper Brandon Black arrived at 2747 Chambersburg Road, Franklin Township, Biglerville, the home of 35-year-old Darryl Kevin Carter II at 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, he detailed in the release.

NJ Man Wanted For Killing Victim, Dumping Body On PA Highway: Report
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a New Jersey man wanted for killing another Garden State resident and dumping his body along a Pennsylvania highway, PennLive reports.
Robert Christie, 36, of Trenton, was charged Friday, Aug. 12 with criminal homicide, abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence, among other offenses, in the shooting death of Joshua McRae, 31, also of Trenton, the outlet says citing the Philadelphia Inquirer.
McRae’s body was found on the shoulder of I-295 near the I-95 interchange in Bristol Township on Jan. 19, 2020.

Remains Of Missing PA Cabbie Found, Passenger Held Responsible For His Death: Police
Police believe they have cracked the mysterious case of a missing Pennsylvania taxi driver, as his remains were found this week.
Darlyn De La Rosa-Abreu disappeared on Aug. 8 2021, just after picking up a passenger, Johnny Palaguachi, in his 2015 Toyota Corolla, Reading Police Chief Richard Tornielli said.
Human remains found near Old Church Road in North Heidelberg Township on May 20 were confirmed to be those of De La Rosa-Abreu, Tornielli said.
